SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Letchworth State Park\, NY
DESCRIPTION:Voted the #1 State Park in the country by USA Today\, Letchworth State Park is home to the Genesee River Gorge\, and features three large waterfalls\, 70 miles of trails\, birds native to upstate New York and the northeast\, and a variety of blossoms and wildflowers.  \nWe’ll spend our time exploring the gorge and these waterfalls\, as well as walking some of the trails to get a more intimate look at Letchworth\, known as the Grand Canyon of the East. We’ll photograph from a variety of locations that allow for stunning vistas\, as well as spots that allow for a more detailed closer look.  \nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic assignments each day. \nWhat’s included:\n•Daily excursions to Letchworth State Park\n•In-field instruction at each spot\n•Image Discussion and Review \nWhat’s not included:\n•Transportation to and from New York\n•Cost of food\n•Cost of hotel (Suggested Lodging: Country Inn & Suites by Radisson\, Mount Morris\, NY (585) 658-4080) \nSkill Sets:  All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity:  Medium. DESCRIPTION:On June 13th\, Hunt’s Photo and Thomson Safari will be holding a “Safari Night”. If you are at all interested in safaris\, this talk is for you! In February 2020\, Hunt’s Photo Adventures will be leading a second safari to Tanzania to photograph world-class wildlife (and more) in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.\nDuring this Safari Night\, Andrew Doherty of Thomson Safari will give an overview of Tanzania\, Thomson Safaris\, and the itinerary for the adventure. After this\, Director of Hunt’s Photo Adventures Don Toothaker will give a presentation about photographing in this environment\, including his experiences and images from the trip.\nWhether you are interested in attending our trip next year and have questions\, curious about what it’s like to go on safari\, or just want to see fantastic images and hear fantastic stories of the trip\, this talk is for you! Refreshments and snacks will be provided for the evening. Come join us for an informative session on this quintessential trip!\nThe schedule of the evening:\n6-6:30- Meet and Greet.
