DESCRIPTION:In response to COVID-19 and recommendations by the CDC of social distancing\, Hunt’s Photo Education is presenting our new series of online classes! (Hey! We wanted to do it anyway\, this just sped up the process!) These courses will be shorter (about 1 hour)\, online versions of many classes that we currently offer\, plus a few new ones\, and include Q&A at the end.\nBelow the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run. \nAfter learning “the basics” of digital photography\, become more comfortable in the world of digital photography by taking the next step.\nUnderstanding composition in the field can make or break a photograph. Many photographers want to show off their creativity through their photography. The more elements of composition one builds into their repertoire\, the greater the depth of options that will be available to the photographer. Beyond the Basics: Composition in Photography discusses those creative options\, as well as tips on how to pull it off in the field. While our Beginner class scratches the surface of composition\, our Beyond the Basics class goes over in-depth different elements of composition.\nUnderstanding composition is a necessity to improving your flexibility when photographing in a variety of situations. This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable about how to frame your photographic vision in those situations. It is recommended as a follow-up to our Beginner Photography course. \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that you have signed up. About 24 hours prior to the class time\, we will send out an email with the weblink for you to follow as well as information on how to access the class online. (It’s pretty easy\, but we’ll walk you through it in a quick online video!) \nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. DESCRIPTION:Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run. \nThere is a world of tones and colors available to you in Adobe Lightroom Classic\, but how do you access it and make it your own?\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education for a trip into some of the lesser-known panels in Adobe Lightroom Classic\, as we delve into the “Curves” and “HSL” Panels… and more! In this class\, we will take a strong look at color options in the HSL Panel (that’s Hue-Saturation-Luminance) and how to properly manipulate them. We’ll delve into the Curves Panel to show how to get the most out of the exposure and tonal range of your image by using curves (and what the “curve” actually is!). And we’ll show a little bit of how to get the most out of images by using not just global adjustments\, but also local adjustments.\nThis class is an excellent opportunity to fine-tune color and tone adjustments! If your images lack a punch\, this is a great opportunity to see how to obtain it! \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information. \nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. We will send this link attendees to download and rewatch at any time. In addition to this\, we will generally send out a PDF of the presentation (when applicable) and handouts on the topic. If handouts and PDFs are included\, we will send it out with the link for the video. \nCan’t attend the class? \nIf you can’t attend the class but still want to download the video\, no problem: Just sign up for the class!
