SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Emerging Series- Macro at Stevens-Coolidge Place
DESCRIPTION:This Walk is part of our Emerging Series\, as we cautiously begin to emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown. For this series of walks\, we have chosen areas that are more spread out and with less foot traffic. We will also be limiting our group size to a maximum of 8 attendees with one instructor. After the course description (but before registration) will be guidelines for these walks. Please make sure to read them prior to registering. \nWalk Description\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education on a beautiful and unique photo walk photographing plants and flowers with an emphasis on macro photography. During this walk\, we will work on use of color\, close up/macro photography\, use of tripods\, depth of field\, exposure and use of reflectors/diffusers.\nThe Stevens-Coolidge Place is a unique estate in North Andover that benefits from a beautiful indoor space\, but is also quite famous for beautifully maintained grounds that include a rose garden\, greenhouse\, and more. Hunt’s Photo Education is extremely happy to be working in cooperation with the Stevens-Coolidge Place! More information on the Stevens-Coolidge Place and its history can be found here. \nEmerging Series- A Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19\nAs the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease\, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.\nHunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee\, student\, and customer\, first and foremost. We also are committed to the best possible learning experience. We have put forth rules and guidelines for Photo Walks that occur during the era of COVID.\n•We will have no more than 6-8 attendees per Photo Walk with a single instructor\n•We ask that all attendees wear a mask. (Please make sure the mask covers your mouth and nose.)\n•We ask that all attendees socially distance 6 feet from one another\, unless you are attending with the other person\n•Hunt’s Photo Educators will be unable to physically handle others’ cameras\n•Consider bringing sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer\n•If you are sick or feeling unwell\, stay home! We will gladly give you credit towards a future walk! \nThese guidelines will stay in place until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Standard zoom lenses will also come in handy. If you have any small reflectors\, those will also help.\n•Remember to bring your tripod with a quick release plate.\n•Due to rain or dew on the ground\, you will likely want to bring a pad to kneel on.\n•You may also want to consider extra memory cards and an extra battery.\n•A good\, fun attitude is always recommended!
