DESCRIPTION:This Walk is part of our Emerging Series\, as we cautiously begin to emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown.  For this series of walks\, we have chosen areas that are more spread out and with less foot traffic. We will also be limiting our group size to a maximum of 8 attendees with one instructor. After the course description (but before registration) will be guidelines for these walks. Please make sure to read them prior to registering. \nWalk Description\nExplore the rocky coast of Salem\, MA with Hunt’s Photo Education! We’ll spend the morning creating landscape and macro images along the beaches and throughout Salem Willows Park. Learn to utilize the best light\, read your histogram to create the best exposure\, and subject development. A perfect opportunity to use neutral density filters for long exposures of the sea or bring your macro lens along to capture the beautiful details of the park.  \nEmerging Series- A Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19\nAs the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease\, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.\nHunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee\, student\, and customer\, first and foremost. We also are committed to the best possible learning experience. We have put forth rules and guidelines for Photo Walks that occur during the era of COVID.\n•We will have no more than 6-8 attendees per Photo Walk with a single instructor\n•We ask that all attendees wear a mask. (Please make sure the mask covers your mouth and nose.)\n•We ask that all attendees socially distance 6 feet from one another\, unless you are attending with the other person\n•Hunt’s Photo Educators will be unable to physically handle others’ cameras\n•Consider bringing sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer\n•If you are sick or feeling unwell\, stay home! We will gladly give you credit towards a future walk! \nThese guidelines will stay in place until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. DESCRIPTION:Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run. \nDo you put your camera away if the lighting isn’t perfect? Do you enjoy still life or macro photography and find you’re just not getting the lighting results you desire? In Controlling the Light: Lighting for Still Life & Macro Photography\, we’ll discuss beginning to master your lighting\, whether you use natural\, flash\, or constant lighting. Lighting doesn’t have to be challenging or complicated! Emily will give you all the tips and tricks you need to control your lighting\, including cheat sheets\, simple set ups with big impact\, and examples of what different lighting modifiers can do.  \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information. \nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions\, but if not\, feel free to ask them at the end. \n“You Are Being Recorded” (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don’t worry about taking unending notes.
