DESCRIPTION:Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run. \nTextures can be an exciting\, fun\, and creative way to enhance your photograph using layers in Adobe Photoshop. But how can we create them? Which work better than others? And why is it important? \nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education’s Emily Hojnowski as she demonstrates the process of creating textures to use in Photoshop! During the class\, she will discuss methods of creating them both in camera and also in Photoshop. This is a fun addition to our “Adding Textures to Photos” class\, as we discuss parallel themes and topics! \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information. \nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Emerging Series- North Point Park
DESCRIPTION:This Walk is part of our Emerging Series\, as we cautiously begin to emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown. For this series of walks\, we have chosen areas that are more spread out and with less foot traffic. We will also be limiting our group size to a maximum of 8 attendees with one instructor. After the course description (but before registration) will be guidelines for these walks. Please make sure to read them prior to registering. \nWalk Description\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education for a night walk to North Point Park with views of the Zakim Bridge. During the walk\, we will discuss Subject Development\, Image Composition\, Long Exposures\, Black and White Photography and Architectural Photography. Photographers of all levels are welcome!\nBoston and Cambridge are vibrant\, colorful cities after dark. Despite the limitations of darkness there is still great detail and color to be captured through your lenses. Our walk will take us along the Charles River to the Zakim Bridge. We will then make our way to North Point Park in Cambridge\, utilizing the evening light\, civil twilight\, and night time to enhance the architecture of these two amazing cities. \nEmerging Series- A Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19\nAs the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease\, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.\nHunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee\, student\, and customer\, first and foremost. We also are committed to the best possible learning experience. We have put forth rules and guidelines for Photo Walks that occur during the era of COVID.\n•We will have no more than 6-8 attendees per Photo Walk with a single instructor\n•We ask that all attendees wear a mask. (Please make sure the mask covers your mouth and nose.)\n•We ask that all attendees socially distance 6 feet from one another\, unless you are attending with the other person\n•Hunt’s Photo Educators will be unable to physically handle others’ cameras\n•Consider bringing sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer\n•If you are sick or feeling unwell\, stay home! We will gladly give you credit towards a future walk! \nThese guidelines will stay in place until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
