DESCRIPTION:Acadia National Park is a unique photographic destination unlike any other.  Highly photogenic in every aspect\, Acadia offers photographers of every skill level a multiple of opportunities.  Here you can shoot miles of dramatic coastline\, crashing waves\, mountain and ocean vistas\, culturally rich towns\, classic New England harbor scenes\, historic carriage roads\, wildflowers\, wildlife\, a stunning lighthouse\, and so much more.   Join us as we explore the island and reveal its unique diversity in locations such as Bass Harbor\, Cadillac Mountain\, Jordan Pond\, the Seawall\, Schoodic Peninsula\, and more. Each day we will work on concepts of Subject Development\, Exposure\, Image Composition\, Architectural Photography\, Black and White Photography\, Low Light Photography\, and Long Exposures.  Acadia is a breathtaking visual experience that will stay with you forever.\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and image review during the workshop. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Walk: Emerging Series- Heritage Gardens\, Sandwich
DESCRIPTION:This Walk is part of our Emerging Series\, as we cautiously begin to emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown. For this series of walks\, we have chosen areas that are more spread out and with less foot traffic. We will also be limiting our group size to a maximum of 8 attendees with one instructor. After the course description (but before registration) will be guidelines for these walks. Please make sure to read them prior to registering. \nWalk Description\nJoin Hunt’s Photo Education on a unique photo walk to the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich. This Photo Walk will offer a wide variety of shooting scenarios\, including plants and flowers with an emphasis on macro photography\, sculptures\, vintage cars\, and more. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.\nThe Heritage Museum and Gardens is “the largest public garden in Southern New England”\, with over 100 acres of beautifully kept grounds. In addition to the wide variety of trees\, shrubs\, flowers\, daylilies\, hostas\, herb\, and heather gardens\, the grounds also have historic indoor exhibits\, including one of classic cars and sculpture. You can find out more information about the gardens here.\nPlease note: Tripods are not allowed on the grounds\, so we will be shooting with an emphasis of hand-holding! (The socially-distanced kind…) \nEmerging Series- A Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19\nAs the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease\, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.\nHunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee\, student\, and customer\, first and foremost. We also are committed to the best possible learning experience. We have put forth rules and guidelines for Photo Walks that occur during the era of COVID.\n•We will have no more than 6-8 attendees per Photo Walk with a single instructor\n•We ask that all attendees wear a mask.
