SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Adventure: Mid-Coast Maine and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse
DESCRIPTION:The coast of Maine is distinctive\, beautiful\, and highly photogenic. The many small towns of Mid Coast Maine are home to a dramatic shoreline\, quaint fishing harbors\, and dramatic lighthouses. Our time here we will also feature looking for osprey and eagles as they prey on alewife during their annual spawning run at the Fish Ladder. Each location makes for a dynamic destination that will challenge photographers of every skill level. \nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic discussion each day.  \nSome of the Locations we will visit:\n	Pemaquid Point Lighthouse\n	Marshall Point Lighthouse\n	Shaws Wharf\n        Damariscotta and the Fish Ladder\n	New Harbor\n	Port Clyde\n	Wiscasset\n	Moodys Diner \nIn this workshop we will cover:\n\nExposure\nComposition\nMetering\nUse of Lenses\nUse of Light Modifiers\nSubject Development\nCreative Thinking\nShooting in Low Light\nLong Exposures\nUse of Filters (polarizers and ND)\nImage Processing\nImage Review\nImage Critiquing \nWhat’s included:\n•In-field instruction at each location\n•Image Discussion and Review \nWhat’s not included:\n•COVID restrictions limit us from being able to ride together. We’ll spend the morning creating landscape and macro images along the beaches and throughout Salem Willows Park. Learn to utilize the best light\, read your histogram to create the best exposure\, and subject development. A perfect opportunity to use neutral density filters for long exposures of the sea or bring your macro lens along to capture the beautiful details of the park.  \nIf you haven’t yet\, we strongly recommend taking our Beyond the Basics: Filters class \nA Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19\nAs the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease\, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.\nHunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee\, student\, and customer\, first and foremost.
