Each May\, the woods come alive with new growth that will inspire any photographer. Colorful wildflowers\, blooming trees\, streams\, waterfalls\, the night sky\, and local culture all make for fantastic photo opportunities as we explore\, learn\, and create in and around the rural town of Solon\, Maine.Solon\, and the Evergreens Campground\, will host our Spring Photo Adventure: a four-day workshop featuring hands on instruction during daily field trips\, in-depth classroom discussion\, and professional guidance in a rustic\, relaxed atmosphere.Solon is a small town at the edge of some of Maine’s premier wilderness areas. Once home to a vibrant farming and logging industry\, Solon is now a quiet village that caters to outdoorsmen and eco-tourism year round.The homey Evergreen Campground is situated along the banks of the historic Kennebec River amid towering pine trees\, stately maples\, and beautiful birch. This peaceful setting is where attendees will stay in rustic cabins.
