Highly photogenic in every aspect\, Acadia offers photographers of every skill level a multiple of opportunities.  Here you can shoot miles of dramatic coastline\, crashing waves\, mountain and ocean vistas\, culturally rich towns\, classic New England harbor scenes\, historic carriage roads\, wildflowers\, wildlife\, a stunning lighthouse\, and so much more.   Join us as we explore the island and reveal its unique diversity in locations such as Bass Harbor\, Cadillac Mountain\, Jordan Pond\, the Seawall\, Schoodic Peninsula\, and more. Each day we will work on concepts of Subject Development\, Exposure\, Image Composition\, Architectural Photography\, Black and White Photography\, Low Light Photography\, and Long Exposures.  Acadia is a breathtaking visual experience that will stay with you forever.\nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and image review during the workshop. On this unique entry\, we will be emphasizing photographing portraits in natural light with alternative lens techniques! We will give tips and tricks on using Lensbaby and Laowa lenses\, as well as photographing using standard portrait lenses and using additional techniques for added effect! This will be such a unique portrait workshop because it can give your portraits a very one-of-a-kind look! Lensbaby users are encouraged to attend\, but photographers of ANY skill level are encouraged to attend. Get excited!\nWe will then follow it up the following week to review your portraits in an online image review.
