Highly photogenic in every aspect\, Acadia offers photographers of every skill level a multiple of opportunities. Here you can shoot miles of dramatic coastline\, crashing waves\, mountain and ocean vistas\, culturally rich towns\, classic New England harbor scenes\, historic carriage roads\, wildflowers\, wildlife\, a stunning lighthouse\, and so much more. Join us as we explore the island and reveal its unique diversity in locations such as Bass Harbor\, Cadillac Mountain\, Jordan Pond\, the Seawall\, Schoodic Peninsula\, and more. Each day we will work on concepts of Subject Development\, Exposure\, Image Composition\, Architectural Photography\, Black and White Photography\, Low Light Photography\, and Long Exposures. On this walk\, we will have numerous shooting opportunities from birds to flowers to landscapes and more\, all in the autumn season! Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend! \nHorn Pond is a wonderfully scenic area\, offering many outdoor activities such as hiking and bike riding. These same trails are an excellent place to explore many types of photographic opportunities\, emphasizing nature\, landscape\, and macro. On many of our walks\, the quality of day can positively or negatively affect how our images turn out. On this walk\, we will emphasize making the best out of any situation\, whether cloudy\, sunny or rainy (well\, not too rainy). Bring your creative thoughts! \nWe recommend having both a standard zoom lens and telephoto zoom lens\, preferably one that will go to 200mm or above. \nPlease note: There will be a good amount of walking on this Photo Walk.
