SUMMARY:Advanced Videography- Hunt's Photo\, Providence
DESCRIPTION:Hunt’s Photo\, Providence \nRequirements: Interchangeable lens DSLR or mirrorless camera with video functionality\, manual control. High-end camcorders with full manual control acceptable. \nInstructor: Video Specialist Nick Froment \nClass Size: Up to 10 attendees \nCourse Description\nFilmmaking on camcorders and interchangeable lens cameras has become a very niche market. There are important camera settings to consider\, accessories to connect\, tripods\, monitors\, cages and gadgets to attach\, as well as microphones\, lighting\, and more – not to mention the importance of composition and content! \nOur two-part Intro to Filmmaking course helps open doors to the filmmaking process by discussing all of these elements and more. Where our Video for Photographers class covers mostly the basics of settings\, this course is designed as a survey of all those things required in making a cinematic film. Whether you’re looking to break into filming weddings\, creating music videos\, or even documentaries\, this course will show you everything you need to get started. \nIn our first session\, we’ll cover basic settings\, initial camera setup (including resolution\, frame rates\, and codecs)\, and basic composition & cinematography. In-between the two sessions will be an assignment to test out what we learned in week one. In our second session\, we’ll dive into refining our product by discussing lighting\, external audio\, focusing\, rigs\, monitors\, and more. \nThese classes are an excellent way to get started in the world of filmmaking! \nUpdated COVID-19 Policies on Masks and Social Distancing\nHunt’s Photo Education is aligning with CDC and state guidelines. We strongly recommend\, but will no longer require face masks for our indoor classes. All of our instructors will be wearing masks until further notice. We also ask that you maintain social distance of 6 feet from one another.\nAs always\, if you are sick or feeling unwell\, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future class. \nThese guidelines will stay in place until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions\, feel free to contact us at classes@huntsphoto.com. \nRegister here\n***Having trouble registering? You can also register by clicking here!\n \nIf you are attending this class\, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior. This email will detail any of those minor changes.\nPlease read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up. \nWhat to Bring\n•Make sure to bring your camera and any standard lens\n•A pen and a notebook are helpful\n•As always\, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
