SUMMARY:Lensbaby Macro Photography Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Saturday March 12th\, 10am-2pm • Hunt’s Photo\, Melrose \nInstructor: Emily Hojnowski \nFeaturing hands-on instruction on everything macro! \nRecommended prerequisite: Basic knowledge of your camera \nGroup Size: Limited to 8 attendees \nWorkshop Description\nLensbaby lenses are a unique series of lenses\, available for most camera systems that give a variety of looks and effects. From swirling bokeh to dramatic vignettes\, velvety glows to swirly blurs\, and often with a bright sharp center\, these lenses present a unique style for the user experience. Lensbaby lenses are also not always the easiest to use or understand and require a lot of practice and fine-tuning.\nIn this workshop\, we will be working exclusively with Lensbaby to create Macro (and Tabletop) images. We will begin with a demo discussing using Lensbaby\, how to factor in lighting\, and creating macro setups\, and then dive right into individuals photographing their own setups.\nThis will be an excellent way to workshop your lens and is recommended for anyone that has struggled with or has questions on Lensbaby! \nCOVID-19 Policies on Masks and Social Distancing\nUntil further notice\, we will be requiring masks for our indoor classes. We also ask that you socially distance whenever possible.\nAs always\, if you are sick or feeling unwell\, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future class. \nRegister here\n***Having trouble registering? You can also register by clicking here! \n\nIf you are attending this workshop\, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the workshop. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes. \nPlease read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up. \nGear \n•Bring your camera with memory cards and an extra battery\, as we’ll be doing a lot of shooting.\n•Your Lensbaby lens is essential for this workshop. Bring it!\n•Macro filters or extension tubes can also be used\n•Any Lensbaby attachment can also be used\n•For this workshop\, we always recommend bringing personal items that are special to you. Props\, trinkets\, jewelry\, flowers\, or even small toys are welcome. We will also have a large collection of items\, but if you have something of your own\, consider bringing it.
