We will experience longer days as well as limited walking. \n                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           \nWorkshop Description\nFlorida is considered by many to be a mecca of bird photography.  In addition to the abundance of birdlife in the state\, the birds are quite approachable and easy to photograph. We will explore some prime birding locations\, including the famed Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Orlando Wetlands.  But in addition to these bird photography locations\, there are several other lesser-known\, nearby sites where the photography is simply spectacular.  This trip will occur at a time of year when many birds will be in breeding plumage (and exhibiting some breeding behavior).  You can expect to photograph a variety of species including; egrets\, herons\, ibis\, terns\, plovers\, gallinules\, oystercatchers\, osprey\, pelicans\, wood storks\, roseate spoonbills\, ducks\, black skimmers and much more.  \nWe will maximize our time in the field shooting a multitude of subjects as well as incorporating classroom instruction\, critiques\, and photographic discussion each day. \nWhat’s included:\n•Daily excursions in and around locations in Florida\n•All Transportation to excursions\n•In-field instruction at each location\n•Image Discussion and Review \nWhat’s not included:\n•Cost of hotel (We will be staying at Days Inn by Wyndham Titusville Kennedy Space Center\, 3755 Cheney Hwy\, Titusville\, FL\, 321-362-6077)\n•Transportation to and from Florida (See below Travel Information)\n•Cost of food\n•Travel insurance (which is highly recommended for all travelers) \nSkill Sets:  All Levels of Photographers are Welcome\nPhysical Activity:  Low to Medium. We recommend flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO).\nWe will be completing our trip on Sunday in the mid-morning. Flights should be scheduled for early to mid-afternoon.\nPlease note: Due to the variety of times attendees will be arriving\, we will be unable to pick up attendees from the airport\, which is about 45 minutes away. In the weeks leading up to this adventure\, we will try to connect attendees that may be arriving at similar times in order to share rides through car rental or taxi/Uber/Lyft.
