While many filters from the days of film are no longer relevant\, there are many effects that are unachievable without the use of filters\, even in the modern digital age! And these effects produce some of the most stunning results! \nDuring this seminar class\, we will discuss the different types of filters available for creative photography. We will also go over when and why you should use them and review how to use them. We will cover polarizing filters\, neutral density filters\, soft and hard-edge graduated filters\, close-up filters and more! We will demonstrate with these varieties of filters\, with ND and Polarizing filters courtesy of Benro filters.\n\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information.\n\nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions\, but if not\, feel free to ask them at the end.\n\n“You Are Being Recorded” (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don’t worry about taking unending notes. They are all around us and anyone can capture them. But landscapes can also be frustrating to capture\, as we are often presented with high contrast scenes that can be difficult to capture in a single exposure.  This class is essential for anyone who likes to get outside with their camera and capture what they see around them. We’ll cover a little bit of everything\, from composition to handling exposure\, to various tools that help bring out the most in your images of the world around you. \nPlease note: This class is a lecture-based seminar. It’s going to be very informative\, instructive\, and most importantly\, a lot of fun for anyone interested in learning or improving upon Landscape Photography! However\, it is lecture-based and not out in the field. This class is a great follow-up or lead-in to our Hunt’s Photo Walks! \nUpdated COVID-19 Policies on Masks and Social Distancing\nHunt’s Photo Education is aligning with CDC and state guidelines. We strongly recommend\, but will no longer require face masks for our indoor classes. All of our instructors will be wearing masks until further notice.  We also ask that you maintain social distance of 6 feet from one another.\nAs always\, if you are sick or feeling unwell\, STAY HOME!
