All skill levels are welcome! \nThe Charles River Esplanade has experienced immense changes over the past 100 years to what we see today. Originally “The Embankment”\, the area expanded in the first half of the 20th century to include boat landings\, playgrounds\, trees and plant life\, and the Hatch Memorial Shell. In the second half of the 20th century\, Storrow Drive and the Dr. Paul Dudley White Bike Path–an 18-mile stretch– were added.
