During the walk\, we will discuss many of the aspects of photographing in low light and at night\, including exposure\, focusing\, composition\, and more. Photographers of all levels are welcome!\nThe South Boston Waterfront\, commonly referred to as the “Seaport District”\, is one of the fastest growing areas in Massachusetts. It holds the beautiful ICA Boston- Institute of Contemporary Art; the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center; one of the first modern “Innovation Districts”; the Harpoon Brewery and Taproom; and many hotels and nearly one hundred restaurants. It’s vibrant\, filled with people\, and truly fabulous to photograph.\nWe will photograph throughout the area\, making use of evening light\, civil twilight\, and night time.

On the walk\, we will discuss Subject Development\, Image Composition\, Long Exposures\, Black and White Photography\, and Architectural Photography. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.\nSmall town America is alive\, well\, friendly\, and full of refreshing detail and charm.  Wilton\, New Hampshire is all of that.  Located in the southern part of the state\, Wilton boasts a small downtown area\, an historic mill\, and a wonderful set of waterfalls for us to explore and enjoy for a complete day of photography and discussion.\nOn this walk\, our emphasis will be the waterfalls of Wilton. We will discuss all elements of photographing the waterfalls\, including proper exposure\, adding in filters\, and how to best shoot for later editing. The backdrop of the fall should make this walk a must!

On the walk\, we will discuss many elements of photography\, such as photographing architecture\, creating complex compositions\, and more. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.\nOverlooking historic Boston Common is the distinctive Massachusetts State House.  Built in 1798\, the State House is known for its very visible golden dome\, but the interior is equally as impressive and beautiful. Featuring beautiful polished granite\, Greek revival columns\, sweeping staircases\, long corridors\, legislative meeting rooms\, and a stunning rotunda\, the State House provides ample opportunity for creating stunning images. After photographing inside the State House\, we will photograph at blue hour\, civil twilight and into the night on Beacon Hill.
