This course is unique\, historic\, and one of the most famous in the world: A straight-forward mostly downhill race from Hopkinton to Boston\, then up and down Heartbreak Hill (actually 3 separate hills)\, and finally\, right on Hereford\, left on Boylston.\nFor this workshop\, we will begin with an online presentation in the week leading up on photographing runners\, with an emphasis on gear\, settings\, technique\, and creativity. Sturbridge Village is a living history museum that features many authentic period buildings and homes to explore and enjoy. The village is also inhabited by re-enactors who provide colorful insight to life in New England during the 18th century. Sturbridge Village is a wonderful destination for a multitude of photographic opportunities as well as a glimpse into a bygone era. \nOlde Sturbridge Village is perhaps one of the best places to have both a Photo Walk and a class. There’s a little bit of everything at this living history museum\, from macro and closeup with fine details to architecture\, from portraits to landscapes. We will photograph both indoors and outdoors\, in regular light as well as very low light. We will discuss how to work with subjects to create a story\, and also work on settings to fine-tune focus and exposure! This Photo Walk is one of the best opportunities to build your photographic knowledge\, no matter what level.
