DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for another entry in our Postcard Series of Photo Walks. Our Postcard Series are shorter Photo Walks and focused in concept. While our normal walks are 3-5 hours\, our Postcard series are generally shorter (about 2 hours) and focused on photographing one subject. This one subject is generally that “Postcard Image”\, a unique and distinct looking photograph that everyone loves to have in their portfolio. These walks are excellent for beginners\, as you’re able to concentrate and fine-tune\, as well as intermediate photographers looking for a quick and fun walk. Less walking\, more photographing!\nOn this Postcard walk\, we will make our way to a rooftop on Beacon Hill and photograph throughout sunset and blue hour to fully appreciate this historic area of Boston.\nAttendees are encouraged to park at the Boston Common Parking Garage. We will meet in front of the Massachusetts State House at 4pm sharp. \n\nIf you are attending this walk\, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. However\, please be advised we will be meeting in Boston. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Education for a set of walks that concentrate on photographing holiday lights. We have chosen a myriad of locations that vary in content and location. It may seem like a lot\, but we have chosen these locations for the variety they present for attendees!\nThis year\, we will be photographing lights at Boston Common & Gardens and Christopher Columbus Park in Boston; at La Salette Shrine in Attleboro; in downtown Portland\, Newburyport\, and Portsmouth; at the Stevens-Coolidge Place for “Winterlights” in North Andover; and at Olde Sturbridge Village for their annual Christmas by Candlelight! We will discuss the many aspects that go into photographing in low-light\, especially when encountering holiday lights\, including Image Composition\, Long Exposures\, Architectural Photography and many additional aspects of photographing holiday lights. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.\nEffectively photographing holiday lights during the “blue hour” and at night can be a challenge. However\, with proper exposure and balance of composition\, you have the ability to capture great detail and color through your lenses. During the walk\, we will discuss many of the aspects of photographing in low-light and at night\, including exposure\, focusing\, composition\, and more. We will spend a good deal of time photographing the Longfellow Bridge from numerous angles and at different times of the evening. We will make use of evening light\, civil twilight\, and night time.
