DESCRIPTION:Each Labor Day Weekend\, sailing vessels from another era gather in Gloucester to celebrate their storied history. The Gloucester Schooner Festival features ships from near and far in a display of grace and beauty unlike anything else in New England.\nOur unique Photo Walk will give you a front row seat among the ships on the open water. We will be aboard the Frayed Knot\, a present day sailboat\, and sail alongside the schooners for amazing views and photograph during the annual race\, off of Gloucester Harbor. This will be an experience you will never forget. Join us for this amazing opportunity!\nWe will meet at 9am for introductions and begin ferrying attendees out to the Frayed Knot. The Parade of Sail is from 10:30-12:00\, followed by the race\, starting at 1pm. Feel free to bring drinks or snacks. There will be a bathroom on board. \n \n \n \nIf you are attending this walk\, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. DESCRIPTION:The Outer Banks\, a ribbon of sand extending into the Atlantic Ocean along the North Carolina coast\, is a photographer’s paradise.  Join Don Toothaker and special guest instructor Mark Buckler as they explore this exciting and dynamic region for the wide array of subjects that if offers.  Mark has called this area home for the past 15 years and has photographed it extensively.   This photography workshop will feature opportunities to photograph breathtaking sunrises and sunsets\, wild horses on the beach\, lighthouses\, wildlife such as black bears and shore birds\, the night sky\, and more.  The photography sessions in the field will also be supplemented with some classroom instruction and image reviews. \nTo make only a deposit\, select the “Deposit Only” box below.
