SUMMARY:One Light Headshots
DESCRIPTION:Creating headshots doesn’t need to be complicated\, but there is a process to it\, and a whole lot of creativity as well. Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we workshop creating headshots using only one light and reflectors. We will demonstrate and work with different setups (high key\, low key\, 3/4\, 1/2\, and more) and show how to set up lights for these situations. We can use speedlights\, studio strobes\, or LED lighting\, depending on the interest level of attendees. (We will send out a survey leading up to the workshop to see general interest in the group.) \nIn this workshop\, we will cover camera settings\, how to use speedlights or studio strobes & LED lighting\, light modifiers\, flash triggers\, and how to make it all work. For all of this\, our lights will be off the camera. SUMMARY:Edit to Print- Hunt's Photo\, Providence
DESCRIPTION:How do we edit an image to make the best print possible? Which images work for print and which do not? What paper should we print on? How should we edit for each paper? In this roundtable class\, we will work with your images\, discuss and process them\, and discuss the printing process. We ask attendees to bring in three images on a USB drive (RAW\, if possible) that they may want to print. We will review the images and choose one to edit in Adobe Lightroom and then send it to print.\nAttendees are also welcome to bring their laptop to work on the images during class for submission. We will gladly assist on any editing you would like to do.\nAttendees will leave with one print\, 12×18 in size (printed on 13×19 paper) and a bit more knowledge on the process of editing and printing\, not to mention the knowledge of how to take the photograph better in the field for next time.\nThis is a class that you can take as many times as you’d like. Since you’re constantly working with new images\, you’re always working out new challenges!\nIn the class\, we will have a variety of paper options to choose from\, including Moab Fine Art papers. (The cost of an 12×18 or 13×19 print on fine art paper is $35-$40; the cost of this class includes the cost of that print!) \nCome see your images\, printed vibrantly in a large format!
