DESCRIPTION:Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run. \nOne of the most fun and creative ways to utilize Adobe Photoshop (as opposed to many other editing programs\, including Lightroom) is through using multiple layers. Adding textures to photographs or areas of a photograph are an excellent opportunity to add character\, depth\, and a uniqueness to an image!\nIn this class\, we will demonstrate and work with images in a step-by-step process to take a photo from Lightroom (or anywhere on your computer)\, import into Photoshop\, add a texture\, and then save the file.\nThis class will specifically cover…\n•Layers\n•Masking\n•Blend modes \nThe tools we utilize here don’t need to end with just textures. The concepts we will cover in the class can also be applied to other areas–changing the opacity of a layer or image\, creating masks which allow you to change one specific area of a photo\, and more. If you have an interest in learning more about Photoshop\, this is an excellent opportunity! \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information. \nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked.
