DESCRIPTION:In response to COVID-19 and recommendations by the CDC of social distancing\, Hunt’s Photo Education is presenting our new series of online classes! These courses will be shorter (about 1 hour)\, online versions of many classes that we currently offer\, plus a few new ones\, and include Q&A at the end.\nBelow the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run. \n In this Photoshop mini session we will be teaching you how to use layers! Layers are really easy to use and will give you a high level of precision in your editing. By learning about our best uses of the Brush tool\, Blending Modes\, and Opacity we’ll cover some essential retouching techniques with layers that you’ll use on every photo you edit. \nIf you are unfamiliar with the basics and workflow in Photoshop\, we recommend considering taking our Photoshop Mini-Session- Basics and Workflow! \nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information. \nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions\, but if not\, feel free to ask them at the end. \n“You Are Being Recorded” (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class! The video will be available for download about 24-hours after the class for all attendees\, so don’t worry about taking unending notes. We will send this link attendees to download and rewatch at any time. In addition to this\, we will generally send out a PDF of the presentation (when applicable) and handouts on the topic. If handouts and PDFs are included\, we will send it out with the link for the video. \nCan’t attend the class? \nIf you can’t attend the class but still want to download the video\, no problem: Just sign up for the class!
