Harness your creative power with photography!\n\nThis is one of the first classes to consider when you’re getting started with your Digital SLR or Mirrorless camera. We will discuss Exposure (how light works with the camera)\, the Big Three Settings (Aperture\, Shutter Speed\, & ISO)\, how they affect your picture and how to set them\, and what mode to set it to on your camera! We’ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what’s in focus in the background\, stopping or blurring the action in your scene\, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. We recommend taking this class prior to Digital Photography Basics 2\, which is the next logical step!\n\nJoin us to start learning about Digital Photography!\n\nRegistering and what is needed\nAfter you register for this class\, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class\, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 48 hours prior to the class time with that same information.\n\nLayout of the class\nThe class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic\, followed by a short Q&A. During the class\, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions\, but if not\, feel free to ask them at the end.\n\n“You Are Being Recorded” (And Other Note Related Items)\nWe will be recording this class!
