But if you like Fine-Art Printing\, Textured Matte papers create a very unique look to your print. Even the names of some of these papers–William Turner\, Albrect Durer\, German Etching– recall some of the past masters of fine art! After all\, they are matte papers–meaning they have no reflectivity– and those tend not to be as popular as the “shiny” gloss papers. But if you like Fine-Art Printing\, Textured Matte papers create a very unique look to your print. Even the names of some of these papers–William Turner\, Albrect Durer\, German Etching– recall some of the past masters of fine art! These papers exude a 3-dimensionality through their texture and\, given the proper image and effective processing\, can create an amazing fine-art print.\nIn this session\, we will spend our time looking at what sorts of images work best on textured papers\, how to process images for the best results\, and what different surfaces are available.
