DESCRIPTION:Hunt’s Photo Education often promotes the idea of using Adobe Lightroom for most basic editing\, as the program’s interface for editing multiple images is fairly intuitive and is designed specifically for photographers. Lightroom can do quite a bit\, but there are times when Adobe Photoshop can do a better job. But where can we benefit from using Photoshop as opposed to Lightroom?\nOur course\, Lightroom to Photoshop and Back Again\, does exactly what the title says\, by starting in Lightroom\, then bringing images into Photoshop\, and then sending them back to Lightroom. We will begin by making basic changes to the images in Lightroom\, then bring them to Photoshop to fine-tune them and make the corrections that we either cannot make in Lightroom or ones that would be easier or better quality to make in Photoshop. Since Lightroom functions as an organizer as well as an editor\, we will finish by bringing the images back into Lightroom.\nIn this course we will learn:\n•When and why to use PS over LR\n•What are Layers?\n•Basic Photoshop workflow\n•Removing objects\n•Basic adjustments\n•Adding text \nWe recommend bringing a laptop for this class with Adobe Lightroom CC Classic and Adobe Photoshop CC installed. DESCRIPTION:Join Hunt’s Photo Education for our Portrait Lighting Bootcamp\, where we will workshop portraits using practical lighting options. Lighting can be intimidating\, whether using a speedlight on camera (or off) or a studio strobe. Our goal is to get each attendee more comfortable with the basics of lighting\, demonstrate how and why to set up lights in certain ways\, and how to create stunning portraits with these lights. \nIn the workshop\, we will create three basic setups with models at each location: Creative lighting portraits; corporate head shots; and full-length portraits. We will utilize both studio strobes and speedlights in order to get you comfortable with using both.  \nMost importantly\, attendees will be guiding the setup (and take down) of all the gear. This allows for more hands-on working with everything involved with studio lighting\, from the light to the light stand to the background.\nAttendees are encouraged to bring their own gear\, but we will begin with gear that anyone can use\, including: \n-Elinchrom Strobes\n-Speedlights (both brand–Nikon\, Canon\, Sony– and non-brand specific–Phottix\, etc.)\n-Phottix & Pocket Wizard Radio Triggers\n-Sekonic Lightmeters\n-Tethering capabilities for applicable cameras \nWhat to bring:\n-Camera with fully charged battery\n-Memory cards\n-For lenses\, consider bringing lenses between 50mm and 100mm.
