Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a unique opportunity- A class on the specifics of Night Photography followed by a night Photo Walk photographing atop the Museum of Science! If you’ve ever been unsure of settings or the “best practices” of night photography, this class and walk is for you!
We will begin with a class in our Hunt’s Photo, Melrose classroom where we will discuss many of the aspects of photographing at night, including how to properly focus, expose, compose, and set up your shots. We will go into details that you might even forget about (and that we often take for granted), such as the best practices with your tripod and what lenses to use. After this, we will head over to the Museum of Science in Cambridge, meeting on the rooftop where we will photograph into Cambridge & Boston from above! This is an excellent opportunity to obtain stunning views of the city from an angle rarely seen. Throughout this walk, we will make use of evening light, civil twilight, and night time as we explore architecture and the city highlights. This walk is designed to increase your confidence in shooting!
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
