Hunt’s Photo Education: 26×2 Project Gallery Contest

Hunt’s Photo Melrose will once again be hosting a gallery of photographs during our Hunt’s Photo Spring Expo. This year, we have decided that all of our images should come from those submitted for our 26×2 Project- Photo assignments that we have posted up every two weeks and will continue to do 26 times this year.

Ron Phillips- 26×2 Assignment: “Signs of Spring”

Due to our limited gallery space, we will only have the ability to display 16 images, and so we’re making it into a little contest. If you have participated in a 26×2 Assignment, enter a photo that you have posted for a chance to have your image selected by a panel of our judges. Photographers of chosen images will receive the print after the show has ended.

Contest Rules and Guidelines for Submission

Emily Hojnowski- 26×2 Assignment “Green”

-Your image must have been previously posted on this page for the 26×2 project.
-Your image should be a full resolution JPEG. Editing (and such) should have already taken place, so we ask that you keep it as close to the original submission as possible.
-If your image is selected to be printed, it will be printed 13×19″. Please crop accordingly.
-Please name your photo with your name and the assignment it was from. For example, “PaulNelsonFrozenAssignment.jpg”
-Do not include any watermarks on your photograph, as they will be printed. A watermark will not disqualify your image, but it makes printing the photo more difficult.
-All images should be uploaded to the following location by May 6th at 5pm: https://www.dropbox.com/request/vxBuwnlfHY1i2fzupy3H

Harper Hodges- 26×2 Assignment “Perspective”

-Please direct all questions to Emily at emily@huntsphoto.com.
-All images will be added to an online gallery at our Education mini-site, ebay.huntsphoto.com and our Hunt’s Photo Education Facebook group.
-We are limiting one submission per person. You can submit up until 5pm on May 6th. Photos will be chosen at that time.
-All selected images will be displayed in our Hunt’s Photo Gallery leading up to and during our annual Hunt’s Photo Spring Expo on May 11th & 12th, on view for thousands of budding photographers. Your name and the assignment will be included below the print.
