Hunt’s Photo, S. Portland: An Evening with Photographer Rick Gerrity

Join Rick Gerrity Panasonic/Lumix Global Ambassador on a photographic journey in Monowi, Nebraska, the smallest incorporated Ghost Town in the USA: Population “1”. Elsie Eiler is the only remaining resident. Elsie owns and operates the Monowi Bar at 84 years young! In this presentation, we’ll explore all the old buildings and discuss the equipment and settings used to capture the images in natural light.
You’ll also hear all the stories from the cattle ranchers and farmers from the surrounding towns who stop by the bar for drinks and meals. After the presentation, Rick will give a live demo on simple lighting and how he captures all the people he meets. He will discuss equipment setting as well as lens choices for difficult situations.
