Hunt’s Portrait Workshop- Natural Light Series- Decay- Ft. Warren, Boston

July 27, 2019, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

$199.99

Join Hunt’s Photo Education for our summer series of natural light portrait workshops, featuring Rural, Urban, & Decay. On these workshops, we will emphasize creating portraits using available light through subject placement and composition through the aid of diffusers and reflectors. We will also discuss Subject Development, Exposure, Black and White Photography, and more. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.

The emphasis of each workshop date will differ slightly.

For our “Decay” portrait workshop, we will be photographing with the background of Ft. Warren on George’s Island. Ft. Warren is an old Civil War fort in Boston Harbor. 200+ years of weathering give us a terrific background of stone decay, and make an excellent background for portraits. We will discuss more thoroughly the use of black & white photography, of excellent use in this environment.

In each of these environments, we will be looking for very different looks in our portraits. We will have 1 instructor and 1 model for every 3-4 attendees. Depending on your level of experience, we will assist in all levels, from basic camera settings to finding and utilizing good light to working with (posing/directing) models.
Each of these workshops will be a unique experience.

To sign up for Natural Light Portraits: Decay- Ft. Warren, Boston, on July 27th…

Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
If you are interested in learning a little more about your camera (or anything else photographic-related) prior to the walk, we would love to have you for a Custom 1-on-1 class.
