Hunt’s Photo Walk: Sunset & Night Sky at Pemaquid Point

July 20, 2019, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$99.99

Join instructor Rick Berk for a photo walk at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol, Maine. During the walk, we will discuss Image Composition, Long Exposure, and methods of photographing the night sky.
Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is an idyllic scenario for both sunrises and sunsets. This historic lighthouse sits within a rocky landscape and cliffside, and in the evening hours of a clear night offers an excellent view of the milky way. This location is also home to the “most photographed puddle” in New England, with spectacular views of Muscongus Bay and the surrounding shoreline. This is an excellent chance to hone in on your skills using your camera during the, golden hour, sunset, “blue hour”, civil twilight, and the night sky. We recommend bringing at least one lens with an aperture of 2.8, preferably wider angle.
Sunset is at 8:17pm, and the Milky Way, weather permitting, will be visible by 9pm.

If you are attending this workshop, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the workshop. However, be advised we will be meeting at Pemaquid Point in New Harbor, Maine at the time listed. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.

Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up. Also read a note on sea weather below in “Cancellations”.
