About Weather
Weather can range from a low of 35° F at night to a high of 80° F during the day. There will be a definite chance of rain during our workshop.
Important things to keep in mind:
•Bring clothing suited for a variety of temperatures, from cold mornings to warm afternoons. Also be prepared for potential rain and for changing weather.
•We will be photographing from 4000 to 6000’ elevation. Normally, the only problem you can expect is a slight shortness of breath. However, the higher elevation is something to keep in mind if you live at sea level or you are prone to encountering physical difficulties at higher elevations.
•We will be using SUVs for this workshop. A passenger car will not work because we will be driving on many dirt roads where we will need high clearance and traction that an SUV provides.
A deposit is required to secure your spot on this workshop. All payments are due 30 days prior to the workshop.

About our instructors
Robert Fletcher began his full-time photography career in 1970. Following in the footsteps of Ansel Adams, he mostly photographed people (children, portraits, weddings, seniors, etc.), which paid the bills. Over time, he became interested in photographing wildlife and landscapes, mostly for personal pleasure. In 1999, he was asked to become a “Stringer” for Canon USA and has been in that position since then. It has led Robert towards teaching, leading workshops and sharing his life-long passion with others. He always looks forward to sharing his knowledge of photography with those who are anxious to learn.
Jeff Swinger boasts nearly 30 years of professional experience built upon his passion for telling stories through images. He honed his skills over 16 years with The Cincinnati Enquirer covering news and sports and has covered four Olympic Games for USA Today Sports. Additionally, Jeff works as an educational contributor and freelance Pro Market Representative for Canon USA and travels domestically and internationally conducting photo tours and workshops. Jeff lives with his family in Park City, Utah.
