Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
Too often we feel that our photography comes to a halt during inclement weather. However, there is ample opportunity to make use of our creativity while staying indoors. Many household items– cut flowers, books, antiques, jewelry, and glassware– all make for wonderful subjects while using natural window light. Every table in your house can become a landscape of opportunity with some imagination and creativity.
We will spend our day creating a variety of still life set ups, unique macro scenarios, and learning about the use of light and light modifiers.
In this workshop we will cover exposure, composition, how to use macro lenses and extension tubes, how to set up lighting, how to use light modifiers and more!
We will be bringing lots of props and flowers to photograph for this workshop. However, we found on the last couple macro workshops that our attendees value shooting some things of their own as much if not more than what we bring. So, while we will have props, feel free to bring your own props, trinkets, and other things that may (or may not) be important to you!
