Join instructor Don Toothaker on Saturday January 10th for a photo walk within one of Boston’s more beautiful interiors: The Boston Public Library. We will photograph the interiors and some elements of the exteriors of each building. During the walk, Don will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Long Exposures, Black and White Photography, and Architectural Photography. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
The Boston Public Library is truly a sight to behold. Set along the bustling scene of downtown Boston’s Boylston & Newbury streets, the BPL has always been famous for it’s stunning architecture. The McKim building within the BPL is also a National Historic Landmark, being described as “the first outstanding example of Renaissance Beaux-Arts Classicism in America.” Thanks to its location, there are also numerous outdoor photographic opportunities, weather permitting.
