New England is rich with maritime interest and history. Our coastline is dotted with quaint fishing villages, points of interests, and historic locations that make for fantastic photo opportunities. Mystic Seaport in Connecticut encompasses all of that and more. Mystic Seaport is the largest maritime museum in the country. The seaport, home to many restored buildings and wooden boats, is a living history museum that depicts life in a 19th century fishing village.
Just two hours from Boston, this destination will challenge and reward photographers of every skill level. Join us as we explore the seaport and work on a variety of subjects and fundamentals.
