Sunday November 26th, 2-3ish pm
Hunt’s Photo, Melrose, MA
Prerequisite: An interest in printing your own holiday cards!
If you own a photo quality inkjet printer, plan on printing your own holiday cards, and you’re unsure how to do it (or afraid to do it), this class is meant for you!
Why print your own holiday cards? Simply put: because you get complete control over the end product. By printing your own holiday cards, you get to choose the feel of your cards by choosing the paper surface, positioning your images the way you want them, and you can instantly see what the end result will be. This class will briefly cover the following:
-Basic color management
-Multi-image placement
-Discussion of paper surfaces and sizes
-We will be using Adobe Lightroom as our method for printing (both Lightroom and Photoshop have the same printing features), but we can also touch upon other programs methods of printing.
-We will be using a Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer, but any of the Canon or Epson inkjet printers can be used and will be discussed.
-We will be printing during the majority of the presentation, so feel free to bring an image on a flash drive if you’d like to see the results we can obtain printing DIY.
***PLEASE NOTE: If you take our Basic Digital Printing class on November 27th, you will receive free entry to this seminar!
