Recommended prerequisite: Basic understanding of your camera
Class Level: Basic to Beyond Basic
Join instructor Don Toothaker for a beautiful photo walk at Nunan’s Greenhouse in Georgetown photographing plants and flowers with an emphasis on macro photography. During this walk we will work on use of color, close up/macro photography, use of tripods, depth of field, exposure and use of reflectors/diffusers.
Nunan’s Florist & Greenhouse began 100 years ago as a florist shop in Saugus. Since that time, Nunan’s relocated to Georgetown and offers a wide variety of plants and flowers, including orchids, cactus, bonsai, and more, year round in their spacious greenhouses. This walk offers both excellent subject matter and an optimal environment in which to photograph— warm, and indoors, but with outdoor lighting! This walk is an excellent chance to fine-tune your skills working with macro–creating effective composition, focus and exposure.
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
