Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a look into the past at the Waterworks Museum in Chestnut Hill. In this workshop, we will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Macro Photography, HDR, Black and White Photography, and Architectural Photography.
Water is a big industry. Just west of Boston, in the beautiful area of Chestnut Hill, a museum quietly stands that celebrates water, ingenuity, and the industrial revolution. Waterworks features three huge steam pumps that were the first of their kind to be used for a metropolitan water system. These pumps provided the City of Boston with millions of gallons of fresh water every day. These coal burning engines were industrial marvels of the 19th century.
On this walk, we will tour the museum and create images by learning to look at smaller pieces of a large subject. Join us for this fun, creative indoor walk.
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
