Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
The bald eagle, our Nation’s bird, is a splendor in flight, majestic in sight, and a magnificent bird of prey. Join us on Sunday, March 25th, for a gallery opening at Hunt’s Photo in Melrose of photographs of Bald Eagles taken in and around the Mystic River Watershed. Wildlife experts Marj Rines and Paul Roberts have graciously agreed to join us at the opening reception and will share remarks on the history of the Bald Eagles in and around the Mystic Lakes and the extended watershed.
The gallery opening is in conjunction with an online auction of the photographs (information found here), proceeds of which will be donated to the Mystic River Watershed for their tireless work in improving the water quality and the rebounding of the bald eagle in the Watershed area. All photographers have kindly donated these images.
