Join Steve Bidwell & Ron Phillips for a day of photography where one could capture anything from eagles and waterfowl, turtles to wild flowers and always picturesque landscapes. On the walk, we will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Long Exposures, Black and White Photography, and Architectural Photography. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Ashley Reservoir, just on the edge of Holyoke, is a wildlife shooter’s paradise. The 1200-acre conservation space offers scenic trails and an abundance of wildlife surrounding a scenic reservoir. The knowledgeable Hunts instructors will be guiding a photo excursion demonstrating the effective use of tripods, macro and telephoto lenses, polarizing filters, and neutral density filters to capture all things nature, while assisting with composition and exposure.
We will meet at the main gates at Ashley Reservoir at 8:30am, and the walk will conclude at 1pm.
