Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a whirlwind weekend tour of Boston. For the weekend, we will explore many of Boston’s most exciting, historic features, such as the North End, Boston Harbor, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, the Zakim Bridge, and more. This adventure will be an excellent opportunity to not only challenge and improve your photography skills, but also take in the sights of beautiful Boston! Each day, we will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Night Photography, Long Exposures, Black and White Photography, and Architectural Photography. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
The trip as a whole will be a photographic exploration of Boston and its surroundings, but will also include the standard site-seeing that everyone craves when visiting such a city as Boston. We will also include time for discussion and image review during the trip.
On the trip, we will photograph at Haymarket & Faneuil Hall, the North End and Lovejoy Wharf, Beacon Hill and Boston Common, Boston Harbor, including Fan Pier, and the beautiful Zakim Bridge. We will fill your weekend with photographic opportunities!
Boston is a photographer’s playroom. With the chance to photograph the interesting people, textured details, and brilliant landscapes and architecture of Boston during both the day and at night, the photographic possibilities are endless. On this workshop, we will spend our mornings and afternoons in a variety of areas in and around Boston, and our evenings will be spent in the best locations around Boston to capturing scenes at the blue hour, sunset, and civil twilight.
The cost of this trip will include lodging (Best Western Plus, Woburn) and all transportation within the city between the above dates. All attendees will need to provide their own transportation to and from Boston at the beginning and end of the workshop as well as any additional costs for food. Snacks and water will be provided.
