“You’re so lucky you were there at the right time!” Landscape photographers hear this all the time, but a great landscape image is so much more than luck. To achieve the best images, you must understand light, where to find it, and how to use it. More importantly, landscape photographers who can use crummy lighting to their advantage will succeed even when Mother Nature is throwing curve balls! Planning goes a long way in landscape photography and we’ll discuss how to plan your shoots, how to get the best light, and what to do when it doesn’t go your way.
