Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
This Walk is part of our Emerging Series, as we cautiously begin to emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown. For this series of walks, we have chosen areas that are more spread out and with less foot traffic. We will also be limiting our group size to a maximum of 8 attendees with one instructor. After the course description (but before registration) will be guidelines for these walks. Please make sure to read them prior to registering.
Walk Description
Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we photograph long exposures in morning light at one of the oldest lighthouses in the United States. Scituate Lighthouse sits along the rocky coast of the South Shore of Massachusetts. We will begin the morning by discussing settings, composition, and best techniques to capture the lighthouse in morning light. We will then work to create daytime long exposures using neutral density filters. Filters and a tripod are required for this walk.
This is a great opportunity to work on daytime long exposures by using Neutral Density filters and learning how to use a CPL filter properly. If you do not have any, but want to learn more about what to purchase, please contact us at classes@huntsphoto.com!
Emerging Series- A Guideline for Photo Walks during the era of COVID-19
As the COVID lockdown ends and social restrictions begin to ease, we have decided to start offering our popular Hunt’s Photo Walks again.
Hunt’s Photo Education remains dedicated to the health and safety of every single attendee, student, and customer, first and foremost. We also are committed to the best possible learning experience. We have put forth rules and guidelines for Photo Walks that occur during the era of COVID.
•We will have no more than 6-8 attendees per Photo Walk with a single instructor
•We ask that all attendees wear a mask. (Please make sure the mask covers your mouth and nose.)
•We ask that all attendees socially distance 6 feet from one another, unless you are attending with the other person
•Hunt’s Photo Educators will be unable to physically handle others’ cameras
•Consider bringing sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer
•If you are sick or feeling unwell, stay home! We will gladly give you credit towards a future walk!
These guidelines will stay in place until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at classes@huntsphoto.com.
