Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
Join Hunt’s Education for a set of walks that concentrate on photographing holiday lights. We have chosen a myriad of locations that vary in content and location. It may seem like a lot, but we have chosen these locations for the variety they present for attendees!
This year, we will be photographing lights at Boston Common & Gardens; Faneuil Hall & Christopher Columbus Park; at Tower Hill Botanic Gardens in Boylston; at Heritage Gardens in Sandwich; in downtown Newburyport; at the Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover; and at the Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor, Maine for their annual “Gardens Aglow”. We will discuss the many aspects that go into photographing in low-light, especially when encountering holiday lights, including Image Composition, Long Exposures, Architectural Photography and many additional aspects of photographing holiday lights. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Effectively photographing holiday lights during the “blue hour” and at night can be a challenge. However, with proper exposure and balance of composition, you have the ability to capture great detail and color through your lenses.
