We also recommend having some of the knowledge from our Beginner Photography class
Please Note: On this walk, we will not be able to bring tripods due to the quantity of people at the Gardens. See “Note About Tripods” below.

Walk Description
Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a Photo walk to photograph Holiday Lights at the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich! On this walk, we will discuss the many aspects that go into photographing in low-light, including Image Composition, Long Exposures, Architectural Photography and many additional aspects of photographing holiday lights. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend!
Effectively photographing holiday lights at night can be a challenge. However, with proper exposure and balance of composition, you have the ability to capture great detail and color through your lenses. The Sandwich Museums is a beautiful, outdoor light display and provides an excellent opportunity to to test out these skills. Join us for a terrific and beautiful experience!
Note About Tripods
Due to the quantity of attendees at the Gardens, we will not be able to bring tripods. However, on this walk we will emphasize the many ways you can photograph holiday lights without using a tripod. This will be a challenge, but we believe a rewarding one that will result in many interesting images!
Updated COVID-19 Policies for outdoor Hunt’s Photo Walks and Workshops
Hunt’s Photo Education is aligning with CDC and state guidelines and will no longer require face masks for our outdoor Photo Walks. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so. We also recommend bringing a mask, just in case. We also ask that you maintain social distance of 6 feet from one another.
We will continue to have a maximum of 8 attendees per one instructor.
As always, if you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future walk.

Dress and Gear
•Make sure to dress accordingly with the most current weather report.
•Consider bringing wide angle or standard zoom lenses.
•A prime lens may also suit you well.
•Feel free to bring snacks and water, and a flashlight will likely help as well.
•Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
•As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
