Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
Join Hunt’s Education for a set of walks that concentrate on photographing holiday lights. We have chosen a myriad of locations that vary in content and location. It may seem like a lot, but we have chosen these locations for the variety they present for attendees!
This year, we will be photographing lights at Boston Common & Gardens and Christopher Columbus Park in Boston; at La Salette Shrine in Attleboro; in downtown Portland, Newburyport, and Portsmouth; at the Stevens-Coolidge Place for “Winterlights” in North Andover; and at Olde Sturbridge Village for their annual Christmas by Candlelight! We will discuss the many aspects that go into photographing in low-light, especially when encountering holiday lights, including Image Composition, Long Exposures, Architectural Photography and many additional aspects of photographing holiday lights. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Effectively photographing holiday lights during the “blue hour” and at night can be a challenge. However, with proper exposure and balance of composition, you have the ability to capture great detail and color through your lenses. Join us for a terrific and beautiful experience!
These walks all occur at a time of the year when weather can be finicky. Curious about our weather policy? Click here!
