Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a walk through the lush greenhouse and botanic garden at Smith College. During this walk we will discuss different ways to capture plants life in an up close, personal, and unique way.
Often, the winter can be a difficult time to photograph under good lighting conditions. The Botanic Gardens of Smith College offer both excellent subject matter and an optimal environment in which to photograph— warm, and indoors, but with outdoor lighting! The Botanic Gardens are split into a variety of areas, showing off just some of Smith’s 7,000 plant varieties. This walk is an excellent chance to work on fine-tuning exposure, focus, and composition!
*Please note: Due to the general cold weather we expect in February, this walk will concentrate on only the Lyman Conservatory, unless the weather allows us to get outside!
If you are attending this walk, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the walk. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
