Walk Description
Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a workshop and image review involving the grounds at the Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover. During this walk, we will work on use of color, close up/macro photography, use of tripods, depth of field, exposure and use of reflectors/diffusers, all in a different light than we normally photograph on the grounds.
After the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to review their images and make some edits. We will then reconvene online with an image review where we will discuss many of the factors that we discussed on the walk portion of the workshop. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to hone in on and develop your photography skills.
The Stevens-Coolidge Place is a unique estate in North Andover that benefits from a beautiful indoor space, but is also quite famous for beautifully maintained grounds that include a rose garden, greenhouse, and more. Hunt’s Photo Education is extremely happy to be working in cooperation with the Stevens-Coolidge Place! More information on the Stevens-Coolidge Place and its history can be found here.

Dress and Gear:

•Make sure to dress accordingly with the most current weather report.
•You may want to consider bringing something to kneel on for the ground, as you will likely be working near the ground.
•For lenses, feel free to bring macro lenses, extension tubes, or long focal length lenses. Standard zoom lenses will also come in handy. If you have any small reflectors, those will also help.
•Remember to bring your tripod with a quick release plate.
•Due to rain or dew on the ground, you will likely want to bring a pad to kneel on.
•You may also want to consider extra memory cards and an extra battery.
•A good, fun attitude is always recommended!
