Hunt’s Photo Workshop: The Art of Food Photography- Hunt’s Photo, Melrose

February 22, 2020, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$149.99

Despite what many might believe, documenting our food isn’t a new fad because of Instagram. In fact, artists have been painting, sculpting, and using their food as a subject for centuries. Join Hunt’s Photo Education as we discuss everything you need to get started with food photography including gear, props, and shooting techniques. Next we’ll transition to a live demo as Emily Hojnowski styles, composes, and lights her scene all while she explains the “how” and the “why.” Then it’s your turn! We’ll have various foods, props, lighting, and backgrounds for you to put all you’ve learned into action. The most difficult part of this workshop is not eating our subjects!

Brief synopsis of the day
9am- Introductions, presentation on food photography
10am- Demos on lighting, composing, and styling food
12pm- Begin photographing food (provided)
2:30pm- Review of images

If you are attending this workshop, we will send out more specific instructions to you a few days prior to the workshop. Please note: Some slight details above can be subject to change. This email will detail any of those minor changes.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.

If you are interested in learning a little more about your camera (or anything else photographic-related) prior to the walk, we would love to have you for a Custom 1-on-1 class.
