Photo Classes, Walks & Workshops
In response to COVID-19 and recommendations by the CDC of social distancing, Hunt’s Photo Education is presenting our new series of online classes! (Hey! We wanted to do it anyway, this just sped up the process!) These courses will be shorter (about 1 hour), online versions of many classes that we currently offer, plus a few new ones, and include Q&A at the end.
Below the course description (but before registration) will be a short explanation on how the class will run.
After learning “the basics” of digital photography, become more comfortable in the world of digital photography by taking the next step.
Understanding composition in the field can make or break a photograph. Many photographers want to show off their creativity through their photography. The more elements of composition one builds into their repertoire, the greater the depth of options that will be available to the photographer. Beyond the Basics: Composition in Photography discusses those creative options, as well as tips on how to pull it off in the field. While our Beginner class scratches the surface of composition, our Beyond the Basics class goes over in-depth different elements of composition.
Understanding composition is a necessity to improving your flexibility when photographing in a variety of situations. This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable about how to frame your photographic vision in those situations. It is recommended as a follow-up to our Beginner Photography course.
Registering and what is needed
After you register for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that you have signed up. About 24 hours prior to the class time, we will send out an email with the weblink for you to follow as well as information on how to access the class online. (It’s pretty easy, but we’ll walk you through it in a quick online video!)
Layout of the class
The class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class–roughly 1 hour– will be a presentation on the topic, followed by a short Q&A. During the class, you are welcome to type in questions in the Chat box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions, but if not, feel free to ask them at the end.
Please read Hunt’s Terms & Conditions before signing up.
