Are you tired of letting the camera decide where to focus? Maybe you’ve been choosing your focus point but still find your photos aren’t tack sharp? Not sure if your photos are blurry or out of focus? Join Emily Hojnowski of Hunt’s Photo Education as we unlock the mysteries of focusing! In this class we’ll discuss using Autofocus vs manual focus, focus area modes, when to use single vs continuous focus, and more! We’ll cover the how and the why when it comes to making focusing decisions as well as why understanding depth of field is critical to nailing focus. In this class, we will discuss:
•Autofocus vs Manual Focus
•Area Modes – what, how, why, when
•Single vs continuous Focus – what, how, why, when
•What’s a Blur vs What is Out of Focus
•Depth of Field and how it relates to focus
•Lens choice and how that can affect focusing
Understanding the full-functionality of your camera is a necessity to improving your flexibility when photographing in a variety of situations. This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable about how to change your camera’s settings in those situations. It is recommended as a follow-up to our Beginner Photography course.
